FIS World Cup - Font Romeu

The first FIS Slopestyle World Cup of 2019 went down in Font Romeu, France this weekend and it was a banger. With a slight change in the format because of the weather conditions, all 20 ladies went straight into the finals, plus the men’s qualifiers and Finals all being held on the same day, making for an action-packed Saturday.

Leading the way in the Women's final, Sarah Hoefflin took the top spot with a really clean run, closely followed by fellow Faction team athlete Giulia Tanno in third place, just 4 points behind. Rounding out the top 5 was Faction athlete Coraline Claire, making for an excellent set of results.

In the Men’s competition, both Alex Hall and Mac Forehand qualified for the final. After qualifying in 7th, Alex brought his A-game to the final, and put down a super clean and technical run to take 1st place with 92.11 points. Showing the incredibly high level of competition, Mac claimed 5th place, only 5 points off of Alex, with 87.17 points.
