Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Full Stack Supply Co (FSSC) seeks an experienced, bright and enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. FSSC is best known for the Faction Skis brand and The Faction Collective films which inspire millions of fans. Today our skis and films have won over 100 awards and we shipped over 35,000 skis this year to riders in 40 countries. In 2019 we also launched the award-winning FW apparel, an outerwear brand focused on those who seek performance and understated style. The Role:
Primary Task: Account Receivable, Finance & Banking
- Take ownership of Accounts Receivable
- Accurately maintain financial records, primarily processing receipt, reconciling payments; generate weekly reports
- Send statements to outstanding customers and resolve outstanding issues via phone and email
- Ensure daily bank reconciliation for all our entities; correspond with the bank on queries on accounts; make bank runs when necessary; ensure adequate backup of deposits kept for correct posting in the accounting system
- Ensure that the FSSC team submits expenses and credit card reports on time and in full with adequate receipts attached
- Allocation and posting of credit card transactions in the accounting system
- Support FSSC’s European finance team on ad hoc reconciliations and invoice entry into the system
Secondary Task: Retail Partner Success
- While in touch with retail partners regarding accounting, building customer relationships is key to the role
- Be one of FSSC’s key points of contact for North American retail partners and distributors. You will answer retail partners’ requests and anticipate their needs, ensuring smooth and professional communication
- Support the North American sales reps and follow up with retail partners and distributors to ensure we are maximizing sales and resolving any issues retail partners may have
- You will assist with retail account prospecting, speaking with new shop leads and entering key prospecting info into Salesforce
- From your frequent conversations with our Retail Partners, you will make suggestions on how to improve their experience and to help them sell more
Tertiary Task: Office Administration
- Ensure Denver office & showroom is always stocked up on all supplies and kept presentable
- Responsibility for all office maintenance costs
- Ensure contracts are up to date and well organized
Required knowledge, skills and experience:
- Two years of experience in an established finance function
- Two years of experience in start-up, high growth business or retail industry (can overlap with the above)
- Experience in the outdoor sports industry
- Razor-sharp attention to detail
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills on the phone and via email
- Comfortable using new technologies & software with little training
- Taste in solving issues and getting things done
- A start-up mentality, things get done because you make them happen

- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Honest, discreet, trustworthy
- Candidates must be eligible to work in Denver full time without restriction

- Experience in a customer service department
- Experience with Salesforce

- To hold or be progressing towards a recognized accounting or book-keeping qualifications
