The Collective Re-Edit Competition Terms & Conditions
This competition (the “Competition”) is open to anyone aged 16 or over to residents within the EU, Switzerland, Canada, the UK, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the US. The Competition is organised by The Faction Collective SA (the “Organiser”).
You (the “Entrant”) may enter the Competition by submitting your Edit (the “Edit”) to us through our website (“Registering”).
To qualify, the Entrant must submit an Edit that is between 1 and 3 minutes containing solely footage provided by the Organiser.
There will be two winners: The Director’s choice award will be selected by THE COLLECTIVE’s Director Etienne Mérel. The Fan’s choice winner as well as the 5 runner ups will be selected by fans through a voting process on factionskis.com.
Winning Edits will be posted to YouTube, and therefore must adhere to YouTube’s music rights and policy guidelines. Please use the following link to check if your intended song choice is available for use on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/music_policies
The Prize (the “Prize”) will be given to the two top entrants, the Director’s Choice, and the Fan’s Choice – both winners will receive a pair of skis (Prodigy 2.0). The 5 runner ups will receive a selection of softgoods and skatedecks.
All prizes include shipping to an address in Europe, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan or the US.
The Prize cannot be transferred to anyone else and cannot be redeemed for cash value or an alternative product.
Entries will be disqualified if they:
Use music that is not freely available for use Worldwide on YouTube.
Are shorter than 1 minute or longer than 3 minutes.
Are submitted by residents outside Europe, Switzerland, Canada, the UK, Norway, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and the US.
The Competition opens on July 27, 2020 and closes on August 31, 2020 at 11.59pm CEST.
Winners will be announced in the week starting the 7th of September via Instagram. Winners must respond and accept the Prize within 24 hours from the date Winner is announced. Failing this, the Organisers may select another Winner from the Competition, and you will lose the Prize for failing to respond within the 24-hour allotment.
Entrants agree to have their submissions presented on factionskis.com, provided they are selected as winners or runner ups.
All Entrants confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions by Registering for the Competition.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
Good luck, we look forward to seeing your edits and seeing you shred your Faction Skis next season.
